There is no more an iconic symbol of Canada than the Maple Leaf (except maybe hockey). This gorgeous Maple Leaf Ornament is made with real maple leaves, dried, then finished in iridescent copper.

Canadian Hand Painted Glass & Felt Ornaments
One of my favourite local artists is Robbie Craig. His art captures the essence of Canada, and while not your typical destination ornament, these gorgeous representations of Canada will be enjoyed for years to come.
We buy one or two a year, and gift these to friends and family regularly. So far we’ve bought mostly his felt ornaments for ourselves ( young kids = safer). This year, I am eyeing his beautiful hand painted glass ornaments. Photos to come!
Vancouver Wooden Christmas Ornament
Oh Vancouver, where sea and sky meet and the houses cost more than is reasonable. It’s a beautiful place to visit though.

I absolutely love this idea and I am not sure why I never thought of it! I love the idea of having all your travel adventures on display. I usually collect key chains and I actually think I want to someday try to unhook them from their ring and tie string instead to use them as ornaments. Thank you so much for sharing this!
