Perfectly coated in creamy white chocolate, powdered sugar, and blended freeze-dried strawberries, this treat is a delicious twist on the classic puppy chow. Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips; melted
  • 1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries; blended
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup Valentine's M&M's
  • 1/3 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Prepare the Strawberry Coating

Place the freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor and blend until they form a fine powder. Transfer the strawberry powder to a bowl and set it aside.

2. Melt the White Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals at 50% power. Make sure to stir between intervals until smooth.

Be careful not to overheat, as white chocolate can burn easily.

3. Coat the Cereal

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the Chex cereal with the melted white chocolate. Stir carefully to avoid breaking the cereal pieces. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.

4. Toss with Strawberry Powder and Powdered Sugar

In a large zip-top bag, combine the powdered sugar and blended freeze-dried strawberries.

Add the white chocolate-coated cereal to the bag, seal tightly, and shake vigorously until all cereal pieces are evenly coated with the sugar mixture.

5. Add Mix-Ins

Pour the coated cereal into a serving bowl and add the Valentine’s M&M's and marshmallows. Gently toss to mix everything together.
