- Choose eco-friendly toys that are made of natural materials like wool, cotton or wood.
- Look for toys with recycled or recyclable packaging.
- Buy from smaller, independent businesses if you can
- Avoid buying plastic toys that can’t be recycled.
- Choose reusable items for everyday activities instead of single use plastics (think reusable water bottles, travel cutlery, snack bags etc..)
- Give experience gifts instead of physical items
- Buy used toys in good condition – this way if it is plastic, it’s extending its life.
